Weddings
Preparing for a wedding can be a very stressful time with so many details to attend to. If you are planning on a 'first dance' as husband and wife and would like to be able to do something other than the 'high school shuffle,' taking a few dance lessons can be fun and make you feel confident on the Big Day.
What I offer is a package of four 1-hour private lessons to learn whatever dance is appropriate for the song of your choice. (If you have not chosen a song, I have a list of appropriate, danceable songs and would be happy to forward it to you upon request.) The cost is $175, which is a savings of $25 off my regular price for four lessons. In four lessons, I can teach you a simple routine that you will be comfortable with. Many couples decide to take an extra lesson or two for more confidence. I recommend that you start lessons approximately two months prior to the wedding. If you wish to learn a fancier routine, you would need additional lessons (at a cost of $50 per lesson) and you would need to start sooner.
I have worked with other members of wedding families, such as father-daughter, parents of the bride or groom, and wedding parties. I recommend that music be chosen in advance so that lessons can be geared to a specific type of dance.

Working with Betty was great! She was able to teach my husband and I our complete first dance in 4 lessons. Neither of us have any experience and she was so patient and made it so easy for us to learn. We did practice at home a few nights a week before our lesson, and that helped a lot too.
